JetBlue added yet another colorful push-pin to its Caribbean route map earlier this week, when it kicked off service between New York City (JFK) and the island of St. Lucia. With a direct flight time of approximently 4 to 5 hours, this new route is bound to lure travelers on long-weekend retreats to pristine beaches, tropical rainforests, and one of the world’s few drive-in volcanoes.
To accompany this service, JetBlue has launched a limited-time fare sale starting from just $129 each way for travel between November 2, 2009 and February 8, 2010 – an outstanding price for peak-winter travel. Flights are scheduled to operate every Monday, Thursday, and Sunday, but to take advantage of the sale fares you must book tickets by October 30. In addition to these low fares, the airline is partnering with select hotels in St. Lucia to offer low flight and 3-night-hotel combinations from as little as $355.
