A native of New York's crowded streets, Laurel loves to strike out for far-flung and remote locations across the globe, but still savors a warm summer day spent at Coney Island with friends. Among her many travel-related obsessions are mountains, street food and local art, and although she's a lousy driver she's always up for a road trip.
