This deal has expired, but be sure to check out our Top 25 deals of the week for savings on trips to destinations around the globe.

For me, landing a really great spa deal usually means you score a free spa treatment with your stay. But Miraval does this, and goes one better: The popular Tucson destination spa known for its self-discovery programs is covering your summer airfare, too. Guests who book an all-inclusive stay of four nights or more by August 15 will fly free to Miraval from anywhere in the U.S.

How does it work? Upon check-in, you present your flight receipt (up to $500 per person), and Miraval extends a credit to your resort account for use toward your visit. Stays must be completed by October 1, 2010.

Rates begin at $375 per person, per night (double occupancy) and include roundtrip transfers to and from Tucson International Airport, casita-style accommodations, three meals per day, and access to resort amenities. So the air-travel credit can knock off the cost of one night of your stay.

The wow-factor is that you also get a $130 resort credit (per person, per night) that you can use toward spa treatments, making this luxury trip a steal. I’d go for the new customized Nurture treatment that uses Red Flower’s organic beauty products and the Qi Journey, a treatment that combines Thai massage, acupuncture, and cranio-sacral therapy – a therapy trifecta.

The credit is also good for private sessions with a Miraval specialist; the Equine Experience, a self-awareness program that involves grooming horses; plus adventures and chef’s dinners. www.miravalresorts.com
