A far cry from the Ritz (or even a Sheraton for that matter), the Taha Tai is nonetheless one of the most decent places to lay your head close to town (it's only a five minute walk to the Hanga Roa's two main drags). This 40-room property is a sure bet for working A/C, internet, and quality service. The building itself is a little drab, with only floral bedspreads to break up the beige color scheme in the rooms, but it's clean and has a pool, a restaurant, and a bar - uncommon amenities in these parts. They also organize guided excursions around the island for guests.
