The ms Volendam embarks from Vancouver, B.C. on September 23 and makes its first stop in Seattle, Washington.  After that its eight long days at sea during which time passengers can enjoy all that the ship has to offer including 15 bars and lounges, a casino, an outdoor pool, the Greenhouse Spa & Salon, and exquisite cuisine in the ship’s many restaurants. On October 4 the ship with arrive in Hakodate, Japan – the second largest island of the Japanese archipelago and home to the fantastic scenic views atop Mount Hakodate. 

Next it sails to Otaru, a historic area filled with artisans' shops, and cafes and bars along the canal. After that, the ship calls on the small city of Aomori before docking for two days in Yokohama – giving passenger ample time explore the area as well as and nearby Tokyo. The final port of call on this 16-night itinerary is Kobe, home to numerous museums, shrines, and temples.  Just as oceanview and interior cabins are the same price, you can also book a suite for the cost of a balcony cabin starting from $2,199.
