Located in a quiet neighborhood in Thira, just a five-minute walk from the caldera, this peaceful family-run hotel affords views away from town, towards the east coast. Though small, the 36 guestrooms are clean and comfortable, with whitewashed walls, tile floors, and unfussy wooden furnishings – and all are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, A/C, TV, and fridge. The best rooms are on the first floor and have a small terrace with views across the island. They also offer triple and quadruple rooms, ideal for families. Facilities include a 50-foot outdoor pool with sun-beds and umbrellas, and a bar.
