Address: Bem Rakpart 16-19
Across the river in Buda, the modern, gallery-like Art'otel Budapest incorporates four 18th century townhouses and features the work (everything from paintings to carpets and tableware) of artist Donald Sultan. The 165 brightly colored rooms in the old buildings are bigger, but those in the new tower have better views. The décor is contemporary, with red patterned carpets, floor-to-ceiling curtains, and cool, grey chairs. The hotel has a restaurant, bar-café with garden terrace, a fitness center, a beauty parlor, an art shop, and seven conference rooms that can accommodate up to 400.
