The only hotel on Cozumel's east side runs entirely on renewable energy sources (that means no air-conditioning, but the steady breezes make up for it). The 16 enormous rooms with kitchenettes all overlook the ocean and just north is a wide beach that is perfect for sunbathing, as well as the crystal clear Chen Rio lagoon. The hotel participates in a sea turtle protection program to help facilitate the nesting creatures that vacation on the surrounding beaches all summer long.
