Address: Ave. Mexico 188
City: Mexico City
This is the newest of Mexico City’s stylish boutique hotels, and although it rivals the trendy vibe found at the nearby Condesadf, it’s way quieter and a tad more laidback. The 16 modern rooms are decorated in an elegant mix of marble and wood and accented with subdued shades of brown and gray. High-tech amenities include flat-screen TVs and I-Pod docking stations, complete with complimentary I-Pods loaded with a music library and touring information. The 1931 Deco architecture is lovely and the hotel faces Parque Mexico. Chef Richard Sandoval produces contemporary Mexican cuisine in the aptly named hotel restaurant, Hip Kitchen.
