Getting to Amsterdam


Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) is one of Europe’s busiest, easily reachable by train from the city center and other points around the Netherlands. Connexxion shuttle buses ( run directly to/from Amsterdam hotels for around €12 one way or €19 round trip. Expect to pay around €35 for a taxi to the town center.


Schiphol is the hub of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Most major world carriers fly here as well, including US carriers Continental, Delta, Northwest and United.
