Well-priced Western-style treats are served at the open-air Café des Arts (Xieng Thong; 856-(0)71-252 162) including crépes, pastas, baguettes, omelets, and cappuccinos. For tasty French-Mediterranean fare, check out the relaxed Café Regine (72/6 Sisavangvatthana Rd.; 856-(0)71-253 397), where the savory buckwheat crêpes are an absolute hit.
