This 78-room, Art Deco hotel, located just across the street from the beach, aims for ambience akin to a sleek Miami boutique hotel. Common areas are kitted with theatrical lighting, elevator waterfalls, and hallways tiled in pseudo-pebbles, creating a mood of air-conditioned cool, warmed only by the glow of candles. Rooms have king-size beds angled toward the water, and every room has at least a partial ocean view, awash in light by day – no generic tropical print bedspreads here. All come with minibars, cordless phones and data ports, and 24-hour room service. The rooftop pool offers 360-degree views of the city.
