Technically the city’s oldest hotel, the property has been welcoming guests since 1552. It’s currently operated by Best Western, which means it’s business traveler friendly, with a business center and WiFi throughout the hotel. The 171 rooms are comfortable if unremarkable in design with in-room high speed internet access, satellite TV, and an in-room coffee and tea machine. Restaurant Ljubljana was just opened in summer 2007; the walls of Art Café are covered in black-and-white photos.
