The vibe at this 10-suite urban sanctuary located near the main hubs of Hyde Park, Sandton and Rosebank is elegant African-chic. Local art and handicrafts mingle with sleek contemporary design showcasing gentle curves and geometric forms, eye-catching modern African art and sculpture, warm colors, vibrant natural cotton hues, and indigenous woods. Each of the suites was individually done up by ten interior designers playing on the idea of "home from home in Africa". All come with a separate lounge and bedroom, fireplace, guest toilet, steam bath, lots of natural light, and a private patio or balcony. Other in-suite perks include complimentary bar, high-speed internet, TV, CD sound system, and laundry service. The outdoor terraces have a lovely garden and a lap pool. Sides, the hotel's award-winning restaurant, has its own double-volume, glass-fronted wine cellar with 4,500 local and foreign vintages.
