The location of this intimate boutique guesthouse, close to the dining options of Greenside and Parkhurst and a stone's throw from Rosebank's shopping, can't be beat. The indoor spaces were designed by owner Sarah Shonfeld who placed particular accent on natural stone, wood, and glass. The interiors have original art by South African artists as well as lots of flowers, coffee table books, warm earth colors, teak parquet floors, and sumptuous fabrics. The vibe comes across as organic, chic, personal and warm. Outside, there are pristine gardens landscaped by Dean Shonfeld, a patio with Moroccan daybeds, and a lap pool. The sixteen en-suite rooms are all spacious and feature king-size beds, sizeable bathrooms with Jacuzzis, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Executive rooms have outdoor showers in a private garden area, iPod docks, and air-conditioning.
