It’s all turn-of-the-century grandeur at Casa Fuster, a five-star hotel in a magnificent landmark building. It was born as a chocolate factory, was transformed in 1908 into on of the city’s most expensive and spectacular private residences, and recently became a luxury hotel. The amenity-rich rooms are sumptuous, with WiFi and satellite TV. The city views are fantastic, and the rooftop pool is divine. The most outstanding rooms in a property full of superlatives are the four rooftop suites. Oval in shape, they have in-room cinemas, balconies, and hydromassage tubs. Galaxó, the in-house restaurant, gets rave reviews, as does Café Viennese, a historic meeting spot for the city’s intelligentsia.
