Mexican law dictates that beaches be free to all, so stake out your sandy strip at whim along Acapulco’s palm-fringed shores. Just exercise caution on beaches outside the bay areas – they are prone to rough surf and strong Pacific currents. On bay beaches, water sports rental concessions are widely available.
