Acapulco When To Go

Peak Season: December to April
Most visitors head to Acapulco during this time to avoid the rain and humidity, so expect crowds and higher rates. During this time, the air is dry and the sun is shining (temperatures hover around 80°F year-round).
Off Season: June to October
Almost constant sunshine is one of Acapulco's draws, but exceptions apply during the rainy season, which is marked by brief late-afternoon and early-evening tropical showers. Deals are plentiful (except in July and August when nationals take vacation).
Sweet Spot: May; November
The months capping in the rainy seasons provide the best bang for your buck on hotel rates. During these months, landscapes are lush, crowds have cleared out, and storms are few.
