Sherman's Expert Review

The best feature of this hotel is likely its location – not in the middle of the action, but removed from it. This upscale, independent resort offers polished accommodations and a plethora of services and amenities. As if carved into the rocky mountainside above Puerto Marqués Bay, the resortmore offers commanding views of the water and beach below, especially from the lobby's terrace. There are three ocean view pools to choose from – one with a waterfall and a volleyball net for the active set. The hotel's Spa Miguett offers indulging treatments, a beauty parlor, and a gym. All the spacious rooms offer balconies and of the 157 units, 130 have sweeping views of the bay. Units are sleek and sophisticated with marble floors and are furnished mainly in white. Soothing colors and classy décor create an overall elegant feel.

"A nice hotel for a relaxing holiday"

My girlfriend and I spent a week in this hotel. The hotel itself was good, the rooms were big, there were a few pools and a small private beach. The food was good as well. However, there were a lot of children which made the time on the beach not... more

"Great location; good facilities; below average restaurants"

Great location; good facilities; below average restaurants. For a place that is a fair distance from the town and other eateries, the food at the restaurants was very mediocre. Prices, of course, were above average!!

"Not what I was expecting"

This hotel is located between the airport and the central city of Acapulco and is very secluded. There are no other hotels close by and no restaurants close by and it would be necessary to take a taxi everywhere you go if you don't rent a car. When... more

A little bit out of the way, but well worth it... no concerns about wild spring breakers making noise, and well away from HRC and Hooters. This spot is ideal for anyone looking for a nice break with exceptional staff, nice rooms, and superb... more

"Good for a Quiet Getaway"

"Great Stay at the Camino Real"

I had a great stay at the Camino Real. I had a very nice suite (520) with a pleasant view of Puerto Marques, this is not the zillion dollar view you get at Las Brisas but it is nice and close to the water and very quiet. The hotel has a private,... more
