Amalfi Coast: Itineraries

Long Weekend Book a room at Il San Pietro or Le Sirenuse in Positano. Take a stroll through Positano on the way to dinner. Spend at least a half-day in Amalfi, and hike up to Montepertuso for lunch at Donna Rosa. If you feel ambitious, take a boat ride to the secluded beach at Santa Croce.

One Week Spend your first three or four days in Positano, Amalfi, and Montepertuso before traveling to Ravello, where you can book a room at either Palazzo Sasso or Hotel Caruso.

Two Weeks Spend your first night in Sorrento; leave late the next day so you can experience the Amalfi Drive before sunset. Spend three nights in Positano, two nights in Ravello, three nights in Capri, and the final four nights in Amalfi. Include a daytrip to Ischia.
