Great Value
An excellent value, Banks Mansion makes up for its smallish rooms with décor that nods to the Amsterdam School (an early 20th-century architectural movement contemporaneous with Art Deco) and wonderful freebies intended to give guests what the hotel describes as “the ‘back home’… more feeling”; the in-room mini bar, breakfast in the hotel dining room, appetizers and drinks in the hotel lounge, the Internet, and television movie channels are all complimentary! Add to that the wonderfully central location on the Herengracht canal, steps away from Rembrandtplein – one of the city’s most buzzing nightlife and pub-hopping destinations – and you can see why it’s one of the most popular choices in the city.
After two stays at the Bank Mansion over the past 4 months, this hotel clearly ranks among the better choices for a trip to Amsterdam. The location is very central and the hotel can easily be reached by public transport (tram stop outside the door).... more
It was supposed to be a very good place for business meeting and stay, but i didn't find it great enough. Banquoet hall was nothing great, service was mediocre and food was average. Overall not a very nice experience to talk about. more

I thought the hotel room was comfortable and very nice, rooms are smaller then american rooms, but who needs all that space,Breakfast
Hotel certainly met expectations, great location, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast..all you would need for a weekend break and more. The extras offered is a lovely addition to the normal, it is really nice to have had a full day out and return... more
