Antique meets modern at De Witte Lelie, the centrally located five-star boutique bed and breakfast housed in three fully renovated 17th-century gabled town houses. Cozy and charming, the décor – white sofas, Persian carpets, marble fireplaces, contemporary art – makes it a favorite with the international designer set. The hotel only has ten rooms, ranging from a single duplex with shower to two large suites. They may be a little small, but they are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The name translates as “the white lily,” which is appropriate as white is the predominant color throughout. There’s also a lovely garden courtyard.
