This upscale neighborhood surrounds the historic park of the same name, and is home to some of the state’s most beautiful late 19^th and early 20^th century houses. Redesigned by Frederick Law Olmstead in 1903, the park, which officially dates to 1882, is the oldest city park in Atlanta. It’s also the site of Zoo Atlanta, and the huge civil war painting Cyclorama.
