Summer at the shore is the most popular time; expect crowds and higher prices. While most of the shoreline is kept cool by ocean breezes, the temperature can spike into the 90s with high humidity.
Off Season: October to April
The crowds are smaller, but nightlife still amps up on the weekends. Temperatures can dip below freezing in the winter, though it’s rare to see snow on the Boardwalk.
Sweet Spot: May; September
Before Memorial Day and after Labor Day, the crowds are smaller, but not everything will be open. The weather can be temperamental in May – September may be the better bet for fewer crowds while still enjoying summer winds.
