Bahamas: Itineraries

Long Weekend Spend a day in downtown Nassau. Rent a car for a day of exploration (start by heading west along W. Bay Street). Spend a day deep-sea fishing, then hit the Exumas for 24 hours with Island World Adventures.

One Week Spend a day touring Nassau, then speed to Governors Harbour Eleuthera on Bahamas Fast Ferries for the next 3 days. Take a 2-day trip to Harbour Island. Return to Nassau for 1 day at Atlantis.

Two Weeks Fly into George Town, Exuma, and rent a beach house for a week. Explore plantation ruins, shelling beaches, and bonefish flats. Return to Nassau for a week of diving and water sports. While you’re there consider day-trip to Atlantis.
