Beijing: Shopping

There is no shortage of shopping in Beijing. Though the city lacks an appreciable downtown center, shiny new retail malls are springing up everywhere, combining upscale brands, boutiques, and restaurants. Major malls include Oriental Plaza (Dongcheng), Shin Kong Plaza (Chaoyang), The Place (Chaoyang), and Seasons Place (Financial Street).
