Belgium Getting There

Airports
Brussels International Airport (BRU) in suburban Zaventem is Belgium’s main international air artery; Charleroi Airport (CRL), about 30 miles south of the city, is a growing low-cost airline entry point, mostly for routes within Europe.
Airlines
Most major American carriers serve BRU directly via one or more of the following cities: New York/Newark, Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C. BRU is also the main hub of Brussels Airlines, the Belgian national carrier, which flies to 50+ (mostly European) destinations. Discount Euro-flyer Ryanair uses CRL.
Flight Times
7 hours nonstop from the East Coast to Brussels; 8 hours nonstop from the Midwest; 9 hours from the South. 15 hours from Los Angeles, including one stop.
