Peak Season: May to August; September Springtime and early fall are the best times to visit. Summer, though popular, can be extremely warm. Around the holidays, expect to encounter lots of kids on school break.

Off Season: November to March Bordeaux’s winter, which stretches from November to March, is rainy and cold. Most Bordeaux hotels offer lower rates during this time.

Sweet Spot: April; October The weather is more unpredictable during these months, but it often stays warm well into October. Although many wineries are closed during this time, early October sees many wine harvest events taking place.
