Brussels Hotels

As the headquarters for both the European Union and NATO, Brussels sees an enormous number of diplomatic/business travelers, ensuring that the vast majority of hotels in the city, even those in the budget category, cater to their needs with high-speed internet, meeting rooms, and laundry services. It also means that, unlike many weekend destinations, prices are higher during the week when hotels fill up with businesspeople. Predictably, those here on business often choose to stay in the EU area, while most leisure travelers prefer the charming historic city center of Basse Ville. Prices generally run from $700+ nightly on the high-end to under $200 per night on the low end. Sandwiched in between these two extremes, moderate properties tend to go for between $250 and $500 nightly. While a few newer properties are venturing into trendy design territory, old world sophistication reigns supreme in most hotels. International chains also comprise a large percentage of Brussels accommodations.
