Bucks County Itineraries

Long Weekend
Bucks County is ideal for a long weekend getaway. Enjoy your first night snuggling into the cozy quarters of your B&B and pass your evening ambling on the ambient streets of New Hope. Spend the next day visiting historic attractions like Washington’s Crossing while searching for covered bridges and wineries. On your last day, unwind by museum hopping or on a canal ride.
One Week
A week in Bucks County allows visitors plenty of time to explore the region. Spend a day or two biking to discover the county’s wineries, a day tubing the Delaware, and at least a day seeking out the region’s covered bridges. Families will enjoy a day at Sesame Place. Dedicate your last couple of days to riding the canals, seeing Washington’s Crossing, or investigating the region’s museums. In between, relax in the cozy accommodations of your bed-and-breakfast and fill up on the comfort fare of the region’s historic taverns and restaurants.
Two Weeks
Most visitors don’t spend more than a week in Bucks County. Although you only really need seven days to get a sense of the region, all the better if you have time to spare. Follow the week-long itinerary above, and dedicate your second week to good ol’ relaxation – fishing, swimming on the river, snuggling up with a book at a café, or branching out to explore the historic streets of Center City Philadelphia.
