Búzios Getting There

Cabo Frio Airport (CFB), in neighboring Cabo Frio, is the nearest air hub. Most U.S. travelers fly into Rio de Janeiro’s Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport (GIG), about 105 miles southwest of Buzios.

There are no direct flights to Cabo Frio from the U.S.; even domestic flights to the airport are limited. The Brazilian airline Gol offers the most service from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires. American, TAM Brazilian Airlines, and Delta offer flights to Rio from the U.S.

10 hours from New York to Rio; 13 hours from Los Angeles to Rio. Tack on another 30 minutes to fly from Rio to Cabo Frio.
