Búzios Nightlife

Technically specialized in crêpes, this place has been a hangout for the younger crowd for two decades. The music is loud and the clientele tanned and buffed.

Kick back in one of five different environments: the Cuban-themed patio, the ocean-view bistro, the cigar bar, whisky bar with pool tables, or the wine tasting area. This is the anchor venue for the Búzios Jazz and Blues Festival in July.

Opened in 1994, this Mexican-themed discothèque is the “old-timer” of the Búzios scene. Be prepared for lines outside during peak times – even though the capacity is 600, the club fills up fast.

Designed by star Búzios’ architect, Helio Pellegrino, this nightclub attracts celebrities, models, children of the affluent and other bold-faced, social-column names. With a capacity of 1,200, there’s room for regular folks as well. The music continues til’ dawn.

In a town inspired by a film star, this is, ironically, the only movie theater. The Gran Cine Bardot offers four screenings a day, with a mix of commercial movies and art films. Its adjacent café is a favorite hangout for intellectuals.
