Cabo San Lucas Shopping

Shopping

Unfortunately, southern Baja lacks indigenous craft traditions. Stores sell handiwork from other Mexican regions such as Taxco silver, Talavera pottery, Huichol beaded masks, fire opals (look for certification in the window), and furnishings from Guadalajara and Michoacan. San José has the best more galleries and "artesania" curio shops. Abundant souvenir stalls in downtown Cabo sell virtually identical merchandise (so compare and haggle).
