Cape Cod: Getting There

Airports Hyannis’s Barnstable Municipal Airport (HYA) is convenient, but few major airlines fly there; Boston’s Logan International Airport (BOS) is a one-hour drive from the westernmost part of the Cape. TF Green International Airport (PVD) in Providence, Rhode Island, is about 1.5 hours from the bridges that connect Cape Cod to the mainland.

Airlines Hyannis’s Barnstable Municipal Airport is serviced by US Airways, JetBlue, and regional carriers Cape Air, Nantucket Airlines, and Island Air. All major US carriers – American Airlines, Continental, Delta, JetBlue, United, and US Airways – and a wide range of international carriers, serve BOS. Southwest offers frequent service to TF Green in Providence.

Flight Times You’ll have to factor in a layover if you’re coming from anywhere other than Boston, New York, Providence, Martha’s Vineyard, or Nantucket. Flight time to Hyannis is less than two hours from New York City, less than one hour from Boston, and less then one hour from Providence.
