The high season brings elevated room and airfare rates as visitors escape the chill at home. Pleasant temps range from the mid-70s to 80s, with plenty of trade winds to help keep things cool; book flights and hotel rooms several months in advance.

July through September is the hottest period, with temperatures that reach into the 90s. October brings cloudy days and brief, but frequent showers. Tropical storm and hurricane season is in full effect, but prices are at their lowest.

Between May and June the weather is pleasant and warm (between 75 and 85 degrees) and deals on airfare and hotels are in abundance, with prices up to 40 percent off high season rates. In May, the St. Lucia Jazz Festival is in full swing on Pigeon Island. Note: you’ll share the beach with lots of wedding parties and newlyweds.
