Caribbean: When To Go

Peak Season: mid-December to April Warm weather lures travelers seeking to escape from the cold Northern American winter. These are also the months when the islands tend to be the driest. Expect peak prices and crowds. Book at least two months in advance.

Off Season: July to November Low season varies greatly throughout the Caribbean depending on where islands fall within the hurricane belt. Although great hotel bargains can be had, businesses in areas most likely to be affected by storms tend to shutter during these months.

Sweet Spot: May to June May and June, before storm season is in full swing, are great times to take advantage of rock-bottom prices and fewer crowds. Occasional showers are a possibility depending upon where you are in the islands.
