Popularized by the Hudson River School of Painters in the 18th century, these cascading waterfalls are a short hike from Route 23A in East Windham and part of the breathtaking 24-mile Escarpment Trail that affords the area’s best landscape views.

Any worthwhile New York City chef knows that a lot of the city’s fresh produce, dairy, and meat come from the bountiful Catskills region.
