Chicago: Getting There

Airports O’Hare International Airport (ORD) is arguably still the busiest airport on planet earth. Midway Airport (MDW) is increasingly becoming a saner, more hassle-free alternative. Both are accessible by public transit.

Airlines United and American rule at O’Hare, but all major carriers maintain a presence. Southwest and Delta are among the big players at Midway.

Flight Times Centrally located Chicago is about 3.5 hours non-stop from the West Coast, 1.5 hours from the East Coast, and 2–2.5hrs from Florida.
