This century-old National Historic Landmark is home to the extravagant boutique, Hotel Burnham, located in The Loop across from Marshall Field’s. Architectural aficionados will love this hotel with its stunning steel and glass edifice and restored original features that are obvious throughout themore interior. Antique mahogany doors and window frames, white marble wainscoting, cast iron elevators, and lucid glass doors with painted room numbers are a few of the original elements that recall the hotel’s storied past. 103 glamorous rooms and 19 suites are swathed in rich hues of gold and indigo with impressive bay views boasting magnificent city views. Units feature sumptuous sateen bedspreads, opulent blue velvet headboards, chaise lounges, and mahogany writing desks.
