Croatia Getting There

Croatia’s main airport is Pleso (ZAG) in Zagreb, but international flights also operate out of regional hubs like Dubrovnik (DBV), Split (SPU), and Pula (PUY).

There are no direct flights from the U.S. to Croatia; most major international airlines offer flights to Zagreb with a stopover somewhere in Europe. The national carrier is Croatia Airlines, which makes regular connections to most European cities, while low-cost carriers like Wizz Air and easyJet serve Croatia from their European gateways.

Flights from New York take about 7 hours to Europe, with an additional 2 hour flight to Croatia from there. From Los Angeles, tack on an additional 5 hours of flying and possibly a stop somewhere in the US before crossing the Atlantic.
