Right across the street from Disneyland’s main gate, you’d expect this location of the Marriott’s Fairfield Inn to be a children’s paradise, but you won’t find any singing characters here. Between the complimentary, fruit-infused beverages and extra-large guest suites, complete with sitting area and refrigerator, the only evidence of family-style living is the third-floor arcade and small game area at check-in. Be sure to request floor four or higher for park views – and to steer clear of pool-area noise, but be prepared to wait a few minutes for this very popular hotel’s elevators. Best of all, parking is free for Fairfield Inn guests, and visitors can enjoy a short walk to Disneyland parks, Downtown Disney, Anaheim restaurants and attractions, and the Convention Center.
