Airport Dublin’s only airport (DUB) is 6 miles from the city center; a second terminal, currently under construction, is due to open in 2009. The airport is not served by a rail link but there are regular bus, coach, and taxi services. www.dublinairport.com

Airlines Direct flights from Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco are available on Aer Lingus. Many other airlines connect through London.
