Dublin When To Go

Peak Season: June to August
The busiest and most expensive months are July and August, when weather is warmest (with temperatures averaging in the mid-60s) and when most events and festivals take place.
Off Season: November to February
Winter is cold and damp, with icy winds; not good for outdoor activities, but great if you want indoor venues all to yourself.
Sweet Spot: March to May; September to October
The best weather can occur in May and September, and accommodations will be cheaper and less booked up. Keep in mind that St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) is extremely busy and can book up well in advance.
