The Dylan is the hottest property in town, with the media attention to match. Opened last January after a €25 million renovation, it’s located on an ivy-covered cul-de-sac in a wealthy suburb just outside the city. St. Stephen’s Green is a short walk along Baggot Street. The public spaces are ornate and inviting, with high-back chairs and plush red settees. The rooms are all different, and many have an Alice in Wonderland vibe – bright purples and greens, oversized furniture, platform and elaborately carved beds, and an extensive pillow menu. Amenities include plasma TVs, MP3 players, floor-heated bathrooms, Etro toiletries, and safes large enough to for a laptop.
