On the eastern end of the lush Lapad peninsula, with easy bus access to the old town, this comfortable hotel is housed in an unadorned three-story building set in a tranquil pine forest. While perks are thin on the ground at this three-star property, guests can enjoy perfectly adequate accommodations… more and a respectable range of on-premise facilities. The main reason to stay here, however, is the marvelous pebble beach right below the hotel, which is one of the nicer stretches in Dubrovnik. Another cool extra is the charming sea-facing outdoor terrace with a restaurant and a bar. The hotel’s well-maintained guestrooms are sparingly decorated with functional furniture, but all have plenty of natural light and a nice extra perk in the form of individual private balconies. All 136 rooms are appointed with en-suite bathrooms but the amenities are on the skimpy side – apart from a TV and a phone, you won’t find much else in terms of creature comforts. Note that the hotel is popular with package tour groups.
Wasn't sure about staying here, but it was a pleasure. There is no PRIVATE beach but a PUBLIC beach that is right in front of the hotel. I preferred to use the nearby rocks for my leisure. Easy to get around, number 4 bus stops almost outside the... more
