Eastern Europe: Getting There

Airports Prague (PRG) and Budapest (BUD) are the major Eastern European airports.

Airlines Direct flights from the U.S. include American and Delta to Budapest and Delta and Czech Airlines to Prague. Lufthansa, SAS, and Austrian serve many Eastern European destinations with one stop, usually in Frankfurt or Vienna.

Flight Times Flights from New York are roughly 9 hours; flights from Los Angeles are around 16 hours. Inter-European flights rarely exceed 2 hours.
