Great Value
Sherman's Expert Review

Just outside the medina walls (read: comfortably removed from the chaos), this clean, relatively modern, 62-room hotel offers great access to the old city. The outdoor pool is sheltered from street views, and there’s a pleasant courtyard where you can take your breakfast.

"too pricey"

The Hotel Batha is nice enough, and in a great location. It is too expensive for what you get, considering the bathrooms need major work and supposedly they limit the times you can have a hot shower. The pool was really nice, the courtyard very... more

"Hotel Batha"

Hotel Batha was an oasis in a crazy city. The hotel itself was comforting, with all night reception, beautifully tiled, pool, fountain, and garden. Continental breakfast was included. Although the food was nothing special, it was nice to sit on the... more

"Cheap alternative"

Hotel Batha is conveniently located near the medina (which is difficult to get out of on your own). Food and wine are overpriced...wine is 5 times more expensive than super marche. I traveled with a group of about 20 people. Most rooms were... more

"Hotel Batha"

My first experience of the Hotel Batha was not a particularly promising one. Arriving by taxi, weighed down by bags and the eight hour journey from Marrakech, we were greeted by a tall, slightly balding and eminently supercillious clerk. He stood... more

"Three stars?"

Three stars is a stretch for the Batha Hotel. The facilities that are listed on the website are exaggerated. We had no alarm clock, hairdryer, iron / board, mini-bar (or even a refrigerator), or tea / coffee maker. There was a television, but with... more

"Lonely Planet made a mistake on this one...."

Coming from Meknes, we reserved by phone (with our precious Lonely Planet guide book) for 3 nights but we stayed only one... I agree that the courtyard is nice but the room are out dated. Just by the look, you can be concern by the cleanliness. The... more

"You get what you pay for..."

The location of the hotel cannot be faulted and if it wasnt so good i wouldnt even consider recomending this hotel to anybody. I don't want to sound too harsh, the staff where pleasant enough and the hotel courtyard is a nice place to be but what... more
