Off Season: June to September
If you can cope with sweltering heat and afternoon showers, you'll be rewarded with less crowded beaches, fewer traffic jams, lower hotel prices, and more congenial locals.
Sweet Spot: April to May; October to November
Perhaps the best time to visit: thin crowds and warm seas without the extreme humidity of summer. Just watch out for hurricane activity during the fall.
