Goa When To Go

Peak Season: November to February
You’ll pay a pretty penny during these four months, but it can be worth it to see the coastal city at its prime. During these “winter” months, Goa tends to stay pleasantly cool compared to its more humid neighbor, Mumbai.
Off Season: March to August
Goa empties out except for a few lingering backpackers, which makes for a tranquil stay at a fraction of the price. However, many restaurants and shops also shut down during this time, especially during the June-August monsoon season.
Sweet Spot: August to October
As the monsoon season draws to a close, Goa’s greenery comes alive. If partying isn’t high on your agenda, you’ll be able to enjoy the beaches – and the peace and quiet – before the high season starts up again.
