Airlines The Greek national carrier, Olympic Airlines, offers direct flights from New York to Athens, however, due to financial problems it may close in 2008. Delta also offers direct Flights from New York to Athens. Many European carriers serve the city as well.
Flight Times Flights from New York to Athens take approximately 10 hours; flights from Los Angeles take about 16. From here, expect an additional flight of 30 min to 1 hour and 15 min, depending on which island you are traveling to.
