One plantation, three outstanding courses; choose between Trent Jones, Fazio, or Hills design. For oceanfront holes, the Trent Jones course is your best bet. Fazio is rife with water hazards and bunkers that make for a challenging round. Hills is a beauty, lined by palmetto trees and stretching over rolling dunes.

This par-71 course is the home of the PGA Heritage tournament every April. The water views and famous red-and-white-striped lighthouse make the 18th hole the highlight of this Pete Dye-designed course.

The ferry ride is free when you book a tee time at this course on Daufuskie Island; the last three holes are all on the Atlantic Ocean and the 18th juts right out into the water.

Two courses – Robert Cupp and Arthur Hills – both feature lush southern landscapes of magnolias, pine, and moss-draped oaks. But the real standout here is the clubhouse, a southern-style mansion with double porches to relax and revel in your game.
